Sometimes called a "host." A computer (server) that has both the software and the data (zone files) needed to resolve domain names to Internet Protocol (IP) numbers. Domain names must be programmed into a minimum of two nameservers hosted on separate networks.  Basically the nameSERVER hosts the content of your website and resolves your domain NAME. Close

Changing your nameservers is actually pretty easy and your Flash Factory site will automatically go live on the web once you have successfully updated them.  Here is a simple step by step guide for updating your nameservers:

Go to the website where you bought your domain (ie. Godaddy, Network Solutions, Direct Nic, etc)
Log-in to your account
Go to the admin area for your domain
Click change or update nameservers
Rename your first two nameservers:

ns1.flashfactory1.com
ns2.flashfactory1.com

Once the nameservers are updated (the length of time will depend on how quickly the registrar activates your changes) your site will go live on Flash Factory servers automatically.  Until then you may view your temporary URL at:

Flash Factory uses data encryption to protect your account information and maintain security. This makes doing business over the Internet as secure as purchasing by telephone and allows you to purchase new services online and to take advantage of our auto payment options.

To update or add payment information to your Account:

• Log in to the control panel
• Click the My Account tab
• Click the Billing link
• Edit your information
• Update or add payment information, click save and continue

Your payment information has been updated.

Please note: Only the Account Holder / Primary Contact and Administrative Contact of record on the account have the authority to update the payment information for an account.


The information Flash Factory receives from you is stored on systems designed to prevent the loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction of that information. Your transmission of sensitive information (e.g., account numbers, account passwords) to us is encrypted in the interest of privacy protection and information integrity. Transactions within our Account Manager and purchase flows use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption when transmitting data from your connection to our systems. You can click the lock icon within your Web browser to verify the authenticity of any of the SSL certificates.
